I loved the evening, the format works well. Taking photographs as you asked us to do to highlight different thinks eg light and shade acted as a great reminder when I looked back through my images. I also loved the last 10 mins when I was able to do a bit of abstract work, great fun.

Mudeford was varried enough to make things interesting.

I like the way Ian tackles the must know subjects and Barry rescues those (like me) that didn’t listen the first time. Clearly the more proficient will find some of it a bit Blue Peter, but it worked for me. I still expect to reach a kind of ‘take off’ when I’ll need less prompting, but for now the ‘prompts’ and impromptu lessons are brilliant. Thanks for taking the time to observe us and know what we need! An author and instructor I worked with and learnt from once said ‘if you can’t explain your subject to a child, then you don’t know your own subject’. Well, a big thanks from us kids

Overall experience of your course was very enjoyable, alot to take in , Barry being there with a different outlook and with his humour made a good combination to the evening

An enjoyable way to spend an afternoon/evening taking photographs whilst learning how to use a DSLR. That is why I keep coming back!
