Comments from PhotoTrek

What did you find most interesting?
New ways of looking more carefully to find the best photograph
The tuition regarding framing of subjects, angles, how best to take photos.

What did you enjoy most and why?
The constructive comments of my photographs, pointing out the good as well as bad points to improve the process of composing a photograph more likely to result in a better image. Interesting and diverse group of people too.

All of it!

An all day shoot would have been good in such a beautiful place.

Composition of photos and learning new angles

Very enjoyable

Altogether a very enjoyable Phototrek

Easy camaraderie with group teacher relationship and fun

Format, location, duration all spot on.

Clear and precise instruction

Excellent, but then I do get to visit Exbury Gardens at least once a year

I enjoyed this the second phototrek that I have attended. I like the informality of the teaching and the very constructive criticism of my photographs and I hope to use what I have learnt to enable be to take better photographs. As a result of the advise given I am becoming more confident in using aperture priority rather than any of the preset programmes on my camera. Above all the main lesson that I took away from the phototrek was to observe carefully for photographic opportunities, to decide what image am I trying to produce and to take time over taking the photograph

I came to the event with some knowledge, but making many mistakes. To create that "special" photograph takes much work and knowledge. I was delighted that you were both out to help us achieve better photos (some other peoples courses take you to the location and leave you to your own devises). I still have a long way to go and would like your help some more.
