The structure: you'd really thought about it and it makes a massive difference from a learning point of view
I thought it was all good, and about the right price so that I felt I learned enough in the day but would still come back again to build on that
Overall a very enjoyable day, I learned a lot and had some things confirmed for me as well. The main learnings for me was to notice the opportunities for photos that I may not have seen before, how to postion the photo in the frame to ensure there is more interest in the photo (and no unwelcome extras in the frame, someones shoulder etc in the corner of the frame as did happen to me).
The structure of the day was excellent and kept my interest for the full duration (some feat as I can be easily sidetracked).
Many thanks to you and Barry, you ran a great course.
I found the day to be very enjoyable in all aspects.
I enjoyed having the opportunity to talk to yourself (Ian) and Barry about how you do your photography. This did give me a new perspective on my photography ie: less focus on the technical aspect (Manual mode) and more focus on the subject.
I went on the course to get re-energised with my photography and my mission was accomplished. Both yourself (Ian) and Barry gave me a different perspective on my photography and this has been very valuable. I am looking forward to applying what I have learnt.
Most interesting? - Opening my eyes to look at how many different ways shots can be taken
I learnt a great deal not only about the technicalities of my camera, but also the endless possibilities of composing a good shot. Thanks for a great day.
