Ian was very knowledgeable and the subject was put across in a very understandable manner; I could tell he enjoyed his subject. This is the first time I have attended such an event but I will definitely look gain even more skills once I have mastered the ones learnt thus far.I did enjoy it, the most interesting part for me was of course, the ponies, but you are right making them look interesting is an art.
Boring..... No not at all.
The group was small but that was OK with me, although I would have liked some female company too.
Time wise, I would not want more than 4 hours, The format was good, instruction could not be better and offered in a casual way, I was a bit nervous to begin with but it didn't take long to feel at ease.
I have not been to either website yet, but will do. Todays location suited me well lots of ponies!!!
I learnt to NOT to set the camera on automatic each time, and how to work with exposure.
As for doing another Photo Trek yes I will do a sunset session next year.
It was good to explore a familiar landscape with a new pair of eyes and be challenged to see things differently
A thoroughly enjoyable and informative morning. I learned a whole lot of things I never imagined was needed to take a better photograph. I might of got more out of it if I had understood my camera better and some of the technical terminology but that is down to me not Ian.
